
Clicker training is a fun and non-confrontational way to work with your horse. You can "click" when your horse does something you want, and follow it up with a reward. The click says "right answer" and the reward that follows motivates him to give you that response again. Clicker training can be used to overcome problems, start youngsters, or train any kind of behaviour you want, from dressage movements to crossing tarpaulins!
The Scottish Clicker Centre is based in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. The purpose of the Centre is to provide a base for people in Scotland to further their clicker training skills with horses. We endeavour to use clicker-compatible methods alongside positive reinforcement when working with our horses, for a happy learning experience.
